Teen ministry
Teens attend the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group (CBCYG) led by our members, Andy and Emily Timblin. Our youth leaders really care about the teens. They engage in singing, games, and relevant Bible teaching to help apply Bible truths to their lives. They're learning how to live for the Lord in an ever-changing world.
They meet every Sunday during our Sunday School hour at 9:45 AM. Our goal is to center the Youth Group around the Word of God. We want it to be a place where teens come together with Christian friends who will encourage each other to live for God. We’re not content for our teens to grow up just to be good people. We want them to be godly people who love the Lord.
We have activities throughout the year when the teens can have a blast with each other in safe settings. Some of the activities are game nights, trampoline parks, and summer campouts!
Many of our teens serve the Lord by assisting our adult workers in our vacation Bible school each summer. They also help in outreach ministries at Calvary Baptist Church.
