Join us on Sunday, April 1, as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. At 9:15 am, we will have our Easter Brunch. Folks bring their favorite breakfast food to share. We also sing hymns and read Scripture. Also, there will be opportunities to share a testimony of God’s goodness. This is followed by our morning worship service at 10:45 am. We will not have a Sunday evening service on this date.
When Jesus is asked by the religious leaders for “a sign” [proof] that He is the Messiah, He responds that His resurrection is the only proof He will give. The fact that Jesus rises from the dead is proof that He is the Savior! Without the resurrection, we have no hope of eternal life! In fact, the Apostle Paul states in I Corinthians 15:17, “And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.”
